In summer in 2019 me Chilli and Dad went too Ninety Mile beach. When we arrived I finished drinking Dads Pepsi and ran into the water in a single blink and I was in. The water was SO crystal clear that I could see about 5 fishy's when dad came in he said “ Should we go to the big waves” I was excited but scared so I said “ Should we cause I don’t want to go there” because I thought that I would dive down and not come back up. Chilli pulled my arm and dragged me there I was screaming for help but dad told her to do that or she wouldn’t be allowed back inside for the rest of the day but night time yes she would be allowed in cause what kind of parent would do that…. Oh yeah, back to the story my arm was really red and SORE like 2 minutes later I got over it I was on dads back duck diving with him the beautiful waves helped me see the bottom which got me really scared that why I stayed on my Dads back the whole time. When we finished swimming OUR motorbike was about to touch the water and I was furious, so we ran to the Motor bike and Zoomed home.

Making Puddles - Our Water Experiment

WALT explain what happens when water evaporates. 

What was our hypothesis?

We think that the Puddles in the sun will evaporate faster then the one in the shade.

Describe what we did? 

1. Alani Tipped 2L on the concrete to make a puddle in the sun
2. Me Liv and Reina drew around the puddle with chalk and Anahera took a photo
3. we waited for 15 minutes to check the puddles to see how much the water evaporated      

What happened?
 Both Puddles where evaporating but the one in the sun evaporated faster but the one in the shade was slower 

Think about which puddles disappeared faster? one on the outside because the sun controls the water cycle.

What caused the water to disappear? the sun made the one in the outside disappear faster than the the one in the shade.

Ka Pai Kai with Whaea Anna

WALT cook healthy food with Whaea Anna. She is teaching us all about healthy eating 

My Group is Alani Lucy Millan Teina and we are going to make pancakes. Our recipe needs flour, eggs, milk, oil, whipped cream no sugar, berries and banana.

The things that we will use to mix everything together is pan, measuring spoon, measuring cups, fruit masher, blender and knife.

WALT: we are learning about the amazing water cycle 

Me and my class are learning about water I was wondering in my mind WHAT I didn't want too but now I love It I hope you love water as much as me. 

1 fact, One-fifth of the world's population doesn't have access to safe water supplies.

Riley was my Partner was Amazing to work with but I needed too help him with when we first listened to the video. We sounded ridiculous but it was fine. We weren't bothered too do another one.  On the left is Riley and on the right is me.
